The 13 year Cicada is here...Get Ready

This spring I raked wet leaves and lifted up flat rocks to find worms for feeding my Koi fish.  To my surprise I would keep seeing tons of 1/4 inch holes in the ground, empty or with a little Cicada head popping out.  I didn't know they lived for 13 years in an 10" underground  hole.  They are everywhere.  Today I looked at the trunks of trees- they are covered with Cicadas....it really is amazing, and within the next 2 weeks you will begin to hear them and then they will die a month later....
