"Two Tree Trunks"
10"x14" Oil on Masonite Board
$ 300

For me, tree stumps and trunks have become a symbol of childhood imagination. Is it possible that the woodland characters of many children's fictional books can live in hollowed out tree trunks? Does a family of mice dwell here and navigate the streams of Stouts Creek? What small adventures are we unaware of? For one of the best woodland adventures, try Brian Jacques' fictional book series, Redwall.
I painted this from a photo I took from Day Spring Bible Camp in Ironton Missouri.
