Any bird that's has the word MOUSE in it's name has to be my favorite...actually they are one of the tamest wild birds, the other one is a Chickadee. Thanks mom for sending me this photo.

Thank you for coming to my site. We do enjoy our birds.
That is so cool you get birds to eat out of your hand. We've been within inches of Common Redpolls, but they've never taken from our hands. Was your arm getting tired? That usually is what causes us to give up after a time.
We used to have a mole problem, but then we discovered they really weren't a problem, so just let them be.
We've been Christians for a long time, but it was when we developed an interest in birds that we saw how perfect creation really is, how what we see as pests have a place. We are trying to do our part to allow the wildlife around here to thrive.
I am also a Christian and just amazed what God has created. Yeah, my arm was a bit tired. My mother got these birds to eat from her hand first. We also hand feed them sitting outside.
