"Summer Morning Mist"

Here is a second painting from that early misty morning in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. The first painting can be seen in an earlier post last month. With these two paintings, I enjoyed painting the landscape in the absence of direct sun light. Here, the green summer foliage is more saturated with color and it's shadows are less harsh, thus allowing for detail in the darkest of areas.
