"Wild Flowers In Bloom"
8"x10" Oil on Masonite Board
$150(Sold)

As I was walking through the woods in Ste. Gevevieve county, I came across this field of wild flowers and Cedar trees. It was a moment of great discovery. It's amazing what beauty can be found in nature's natural state.

What a radical composition! It reminded me of a Jean Carzou's landscape (French 20 C.) He was known for using centrally divided compositions on his water color landscapes. Just FYI.

Good work, Matt
